Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Deployment Engineer - Federal Customer in Chantilly, VA to provide hands-on installation, sustainment, and field troubleshooting for mission systems. This on-site role requires active TS/SCI clearance and up to 50% travel to support secure environments.

The ideal candidate has extensive field engineering experience, strong hardware troubleshooting skills, and the ability to coordinate with systems, network, automation, and logistics teams to deploy and sustain

Qualifications

12+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Experience in field engineering, integration support, deployment, or technical support roles.
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, integration, cabling, hardware swaps, and physical support tasks
Troubleshoot break-fix incidents and restore services quickly
Support tickets, service requests, and field issues through closure
Validate equipment functionality and document actions taken
Coordinate with systems, network, automation, and logistics teams during deployments and sustainment
Maintain tools, spares, parts, and support readiness
Follow site procedures, escalation paths, and change practices
Provide direct customer-facing support in operational settings
