Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a federal customer in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on automating network deployments and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure across distributed sites.

The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise networks, work with SNOW/SD-WAN platforms, and develop production-ready automation scripts using Python, Go, and Ansible. Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for onsite work five days per week.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required

• Experience designing, deploying, automating, and maintaining enterprise networks

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure for mission-critical workloads.
• Develop automation scripts to deploy and configure network devices.
• Support WAN/SD-WAN architectures across geographically distributed sites.
• Troubleshoot routing, security policies, and network performance issues.
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and platform teams to implement scalable solutions.
