Job summary

Raytheon in Tewksbury, MA is seeking a Senior Network Architect for an onsite role. You will lead enterprise network architecture across classified environments, applying TOGAF/DoDAF frameworks and governing standards to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Requires active DoD clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities include creating architectural artifacts, mentoring engineers, and guiding programs through reviews. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 7+ years' experience.
• Experience developing and governing enterprise-scale network architectures.
• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, WAN, segmentation, zero trust, encryption, and secure communications.
• Experience using formal architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, or Zachman.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret DoD clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise network architectures supporting classified programs.
• Define, document, and maintain network architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Apply TOGAF and DoDAF to guide solution development and ensure traceability from mission needs to implementation.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance, ensuring compliance with standards and security requirements.
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts including system views and technical standards documentation.
• Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support to operational network teams for complex issues.
