Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a NetDevOps Engineer to support the U.S. Navy.

This role is 100% onsite in Norfolk, VA or Jacksonville, FL, combining network engineering with automation and DevOps to manage a large multi-vendor environment. The engineer will develop automated solutions for network configuration and policy management, support enterprise Network Management Systems, and work with Red Hat Linux and Kubernetes in modern deployments while ensuring performance and security.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with routing and switching in multi-vendor enterprise networks.
• Hands-on network automation and configuration management with Ansible.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, Kubernetes, and NMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Support & administer complex multi-vendor network environments.
• Develop, test, and deploy network automation solutions with Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and policy enforcement.
• Administer and support enterprise Network Management Systems (NMS).
• Manage Red Hat 8 and Kubernetes environments for NMS deployments.
• Troubleshoot network issues and present findings to leadership.
