Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support a growing client in Fort Meade, MD. This onsite role requires you to sit 5 days per week and leverage enterprise networking expertise in architecture, automation, and client-facing consulting.

The Sr. Network Engineer will design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure mission-critical performance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• CCIE certification required; CCNP Data Center acceptable with strong expertise.
• Automation experience with Python, Ansible, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale network infrastructure.
• Advise clients with strategic roadmaps and best practices for network modernization.
• Develop network automation using Python and Ansible (IaC).
• Lead troubleshooting across routing, switching, data center, and network services.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams for project success.
