Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an NDT Level II-FPI inspector to verify dimensional compliance of metal components. The role is onsite in South Windsor, CT, with first shift hours.

You will perform inspections, document results, and ensure adherence to data and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in NDT/FPI inspection, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years progressive experience in an inspection role related to NDT/FPI testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Must comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Detect and interpret flaws in metal parts using FPI methods.
• Ensure acceptance based on flaw indications and quality requirements.
• Prepare parts and perform NDT inspections per approved data; use magnifiers as needed.
• Document inspection results and maintain records per work instructions.
• Determine routing of parts using technical orders and instructions.
• Attend on-the-job and classroom training to become task-certified.
• Cross-train others in related inspection processes.
• Adhere to safety, fire, and housekeeping rules.
• Verify tools and equipment are calibrated and safe.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and 6S initiatives.
• Meet visual acuity requirements and offer improvement ideas.
