Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) seeks an Analyst to perform thorough research and analysis in support of national security, law enforcement, and private sector clients. This onsite role involves working with Open Source, public records, and social media data to produce rigorous threat assessments and insights.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in research/analysis, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years previous work experience in research and analysis, public records, open source and/or social media data.
• Bachelor's required, master's preferred.
• Experience conducting investigative research to identify risks, relationships, patterns and concerns.
• Familiarity with analyzing complex networks, organizational structures and associations among entities.
• Experience gathering information from multiple sources and evaluating credibility.
• Translate complex research into clear, well-supported written assessments.
• Strong reading and formal writing skills with source evaluation.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail with multiple data streams integration.
• Engage with project teams and clients professionally and responsively.
• U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site client support, including inquiries, ad hoc reporting, research, and analytic method guidance.
• Deliver insightful, well-researched analysis using public records, proprietary data, social media, and open data.
• Communicate actionable insights through data visualization and processing methods.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS Analysts to build strong, fast-paced teamwork.
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership, delivering progressively complex tasks.
• Mentor colleagues and develop analytic best practices within TRSS.
