Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is seeking an Analyst to join a world-class team focused on national security and investigative research. The role combines open-source intelligence, public records, and proprietary data to deliver rigorous analyses and actionable insights for clients across government, military, and industry.

You will work onsite full-time in select states, collaborating with TRSS professionals to produce due diligence reports, threat assessments, and data-driven

Qualifications

• 3+ years of research and analysis experience using public records, open source, or social media data.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Experience conducting investigative research to identify risks and relationships.
• Familiarity with analyzing networks, organizations, and business relationships.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and evaluate credibility.
• Strong written communication; ability to distinguish facts from judgments.
• Proven analytical thinking with attention to detail using multiple data streams.
• Ability to engage with teams and clients professionally and respond quickly.
• U.S. Citizenship is essential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Position contingent on background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence assessments and threat management reporting using open source and proprietary data.
• Provide on-site client support including inquiries, ad hoc reporting, and research advice.
• Deliver insightful analysis based on public records, proprietary data, social media, and other open sources.
• Communicate actionable insights through data visualization and data processing methods.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS Analysts in a fast-paced environment.
• Mentor and train teammates in analytic best practices.
• Demonstrate accountability and ownership of progressively complex tasks.
