Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) seeks an Analyst to conduct open-source research and complex threat assessments for national security and private sector clients. The role emphasizes on-site work and collaboration with TRSS teams to produce rigorous analytic reports.

You will leverage public records, social media data, and proprietary data to generate insights, with emphasis on clear written assessments and data visualization. U.S. citizenship and clearance readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in research and analysis using public records, open source or social media data.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Experience in investigative research to identify risks, patterns and concerns.
• Ability to analyze complex networks and relationships among entities.
• Ability to translate research into clear, supported written assessments.
• Strong reading and formal writing skills with source evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence assessments and threat management reporting.
• Provide on-site client support including ad hoc reporting and research.
• Deliver insightful analysis using multiple data sources and open data.
• Communicate actionable insights through data visualization and processing methods.
• Collaborate with client managers and TRSS analysts in a fast-paced environment.
• Mentor and contribute to analytic best practices and development.
