Job summary

SDK ApartmentsSM is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee a 600+ unit multifamily community in Ashburn, Virginia. The PM will lead the property team to achieve financial and operational goals while ensuring compliance with multifamily housing regulations and an exceptional living experience for residents.

This onsite role requires a proven leader who can manage budgets, rents, maintenance, and vendor contracts, drive resident satisfaction, and maintain SDK standards across safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven years of property management and leasing experience, including at least three years overseeing 500+ units in Virginia.
• Strong knowledge of landlord/tenant laws, Fair Housing, ADA, and related regulations.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and improve resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop property teams to meet performance standards.
• Oversee leasing processes, including applications, renewals, and notices.
• Monitor budgets, revenues, and expenditures to meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and insurance requirements.
• Manage vendor relations and contract compliance.
• Prepare periodic financial and status reports.
• Provide excellent resident service ensuring high retention.
• Maintain SDK standards in aesthetics and operations.
• Forecast market trends to inform pricing and occupancy strategies.
