Job summary

American Capital Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent for a 305-unit multifamily project. The role requires 4+ years on multifamily, senior housing, or hotel projects and 2+ years as a construction superintendent. You will read plans, manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain daily progress records on-site.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm with on-site presence. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $170,000 per year, plus bonuses and possible vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience on multifamily, senior housing, or hotel projects.
• Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and scopes of work.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work on project from start to closeout.
• Assist in creating and maintaining schedules for the project.
• Coordinate subcontractor and material scheduling.
• Maintain daily field status reports and progress records.
• Foster positive relationships with team, subcontractors, owners and city officials.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to complete all aspects of the project.
• Perform quality control reviews of materials and work performed.
• Inspect all work and take corrective actions as needed.
• Support safety team to ensure a safe working environment.
