Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an MRO Buyer to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position, 100% onsite.

You will source and procure MRO supplies for production, maintenance, and admin functions, manage suppliers, and negotiate pricing while using ARIBA and other procurement systems. The role emphasizes strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills, with cross-functional collaboration and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• Experience purchasing MRO supplies in maquiladora or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing overseas suppliers, including logistics and customs.
• Proficient with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Familiarity with ARIBA and other procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage material procurement and order entry to support daily operations.
• Source and purchase goods and services for production and maintenance.
• Use procurement tools for tracking and managing purchases.
• Prepare and release purchase orders based on approved requirements.
• Request quotations and negotiate best pricing for materials and services.
• Register and validate suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Communicate across teams and with suppliers, verbally and in writing.
• Apply analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to optimize procurement processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Demonstrate financial literacy, risk analysis, relationship management, and project management capabilities.
