Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an MRO Buyer for a Fort Worth client. This 100% onsite role procures materials, services, and supplies for production and maintenance, manages orders, and builds supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in a related field, experience purchasing MRO supplies in a maquiladora or high-volume setting, overseas supplier management, and strong Excel/Power BI skills for data-driven decisions and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Experience purchasing MRO supplies in maquiladora or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong background managing overseas suppliers; knowledge of global logistics and customs.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage material procurement and order entry to support daily operations.
• Source and purchase goods and services required for production and maintenance.
• Use procurement tools (IMPC, PMCS, ARIBA) to track purchases.
• Prepare and release purchase orders from approved requirements.
• Request quotations and negotiate the best pricing for materials and services.
• Register and validate suppliers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Communicate effectively with teams and suppliers, verbally and in writing.
• Apply analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to optimize procurement.
