Job summary

Leidos in Keyport, WA is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and software integration in a secure IT environment that supports Navy missions. You will work with government leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated systems that are tested and deployed for critical operations.

Responsibilities include creating clear status updates, technical briefings, and documentation; guiding lifecycle activities from planning to transition;

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in IT or engineering with 4+ or 8+ years of experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8140 compliant certification such as Network+, Security+, or CCNA.
• Minimum of three years experience integrating hardware and software in networked IT environments.
• Two or more years of AWS cloud hosting experience.
• Broad understanding of lifecycle for integrating hardware and software in secure IT environments.
• Experience facilitating technical working groups and communicating with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of hardware and software integration in a secure IT environment.
• Collaborate with government leadership and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare and deliver status updates, technical briefings, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into concise, actionable documentation for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Support full system lifecycle including planning, testing, deployment, implementation, and transition.
• Document technical designs, integration plans, and system configurations.
• Facilitate technical working groups and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure integration activities align with cybersecurity, operational, and mission requirements.
• Support end-user training and knowledge transfer during implementation.
