Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a hands-on Technical Service Representative to support Electric Rope Shovel repairs at customer mine sites, primarily in the Safford and Morenci area. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with major capital rebuilds.

This onsite role requires strong computer skills, the ability to read electrical schematics, and clear communication with customer supervisors and internal teams to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computers and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of Electrical Theory and Electrical Field.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electric rope shovel, perform inspections and audits.
• Report machine condition and repair time accurately.
• Develop maintenance strategies to improve safety and reliability.
• Assist electricians with installations and wiring.
• Communicate customer needs to Supervisors, Managers, Engineering and Product Support.
