Job summary

Komatsu seeks a skilled Service Technician to support electric drive wheel loaders and drills across open pit mine sites in the Southwest. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment.

The position is onsite with a Monday–Saturday schedule, 10–14 hour days. The technician will perform maintenance, diagnose, adjust, repair or replace defective components, and conduct field repairs at customer sites, ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mining or construction equipment experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, service, and inspect Komatsu electric wheel loaders and drills.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Replace defective parts and perform field service at customer sites.
• Conduct on-site repairs at open pit mine sites.
