Qualifications

• 3–5 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Excavator experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (bulldozer, excavator) on site.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Report issues to foreman, supervisor, safety director or HR manager.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment and refer defects to supervisor; clean equipment.
• Load trucks and assist with grade work; knowledge of moisture condition and cut/load grades.
• Prefer knowledge of GPS and site layout as needed.
