Interstate Earthworks LLC in Lamesa, TX is hiring a Mine Heavy Equipment Operator to run bulldozers and excavators and support site construction and excavation projects. You will follow safety protocols, inspect and maintain gear, and work with foremen to meet project goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience, strong communication, and a team‑oriented mindset. On-site work, diverse weather conditions, and a focus on reliability are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of recent construction experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• Experience operating bulldozer and excavator is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in excavation and site construction.
• Follows company safety procedures; communicates issues to foreman or HR.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment and reports defects.
• Knowledge of moisture condition, cut grade, and ability to load trucks.
• Knowledge of cutting and filling grade; GPS knowledge preferred.
