Job summary

Coushatta Forest Products is seeking several Millwrights to join our leadership and maintenance teams at the Coushatta, Louisiana sawmill. The Millwright will install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include alignment, troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and performing preventative maintenance while adhering to all safety regulations. Onsite, full-time roles with varied shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of millwright experience, preferably in sawmill/manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial machinery installation, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform precise alignment and calibration of machinery using specialized tools.
• Operate hoisting devices to position equipment during installation and repair.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to guide work.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used.
