Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Morenci seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient operation of an assigned work unit and supervise staff, ensuring production plans are followed and performance is reviewed.

You will manage time, materials, and equipment, train staff in safety procedures, maintain safety data sheets, and participate in staffing estimates. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have five years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
• Bachelor-level mining-related degree with internship experience acceptable for leadership roles.
• Strong track record supervising teams and leading safety-focused operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit.
• Assign, supervise, and review the work of staff; implement production plans per schedules.
• Inspect progress, identify issues, direct remedial action, and manage inventories and purchases.
• Train staff in safety procedures and maintain safety data sheets; prepare staffing estimates.
