Job summary

Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) seeks a Microsoft 365 Administrator for an onsite role in Eden Prairie, MN. The role focuses on secure, reliable administration of the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, MFA, SSO, and Defender/Purview capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration, relevant IT education, and a track record of maintaining tenant services across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Three or more years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience in a business, healthcare, or enterprise environment.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 tenant services through multiple Admin Centers (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Entra, Intune, Defender, Purview) and related portals.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant-level configuration affecting identity, authentication, access, collaboration, endpoint management, security, compliance, and backup/recovery.
• Administer Entra ID; enable SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access; manage workloads and tenant-wide settings.
• Monitor security events using Sentinel/Defender and respond to incidents with IT colleagues.
• Document processes, implement changes, and ensure high availability of Microsoft 365 services.
