Job summary

RTX is seeking a Metrology Engineer Intern to support calibration of test equipment across the enterprise. This onsite role provides technical support to calibration technicians and helps develop calibration procedures.

Currently pursuing a STEM degree, you will analyze data, review technical documents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve calibration processes while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field through the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to calibration technicians performing calibration and repair of test equipment.
Coordinate supplier approvals and review specifications to ensure compliance with requirements.
Develop and maintain calibration procedures for test equipment.
Support the resolution of technical issues related to calibration and test equipment performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure calibration processes meet operational needs.
Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Ensure all calibration activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
