Job summary

Taylor Metal Products in Auburn, WA is seeking a dependable team member for a dual role in metal roll forming and warehouse operations. The position features a dayshift with occasional overnighters, and involves operating roll forming equipment, preparing materials, and handling deliveries on-site.

You will also work in the warehouse, managing inventory, packing shipments, and assisting production with material staging. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills required for material quantities and measurements.
• Written communication skills for shift reports and packaging labels.
• 3–6 months manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (will certify in-house).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain roll forming machinery on-site, including overnight shifts during peak season.
• Inspect and prepare raw materials for the roll forming process.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products around yard and shop.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials from trailers and staging for production.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Keep work area clean, organized and compliant with safety policies.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving, storing and tracking materials.
• Prepare materials for shipment, including packing and labeling.
• Support production by picking and staging materials for upcoming projects.
• Stock and fulfill orders; collaborate with team to meet deadlines.
