Job summary

TeamSoft is seeking an MES Software Engineer to act as a shop-floor expert for manufacturing applications and machine integrations. You will implement production line systems, build real-time data visualization platforms, and enhance core MES/Operations/Quality modules.

The role requires 5+ years in MES/SCADA, strong Ignition experience, and willingness to work onsite in Jeffersonville, IN. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in MES, SCADA, industrial automation, or manufacturing software development.
• Ignition expertise: strong experience developing and supporting Ignition applications in live manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain Ignition applications (Perspective, Vision, Designer).
• Design Ignition integrations connecting PLCs, MES, ERP, SCADA, and SQL Server for real-time monitoring and reporting.
• Configure Ignition tag structures, alarms, notifications, historian data, and user security.
• Troubleshoot Ignition gateway performance and system interfaces.
• Test and validate MES systems for shop-floor accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate in self-managed, cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
