Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company is seeking an MEP Field Engineer to lead commissioning quality control on our projects near Amarillo, TX. You will verify MEP installations, coordinate with trade managers and subcontractors, and train client personnel for operations and maintenance of electrical systems.

The role requires at least five years in commissioning management and a background in industrial or hi-tech semiconductor environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of project commissioning management experience.
• Experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field work experience in a relevant discipline.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Verify MEP system installations and testing.
• Ensure safety precautions before operating systems.
• Coordinate between trade managers and subcontractors for mechanical/electrical startups.
• Organize training for clients on operations and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Serve as technical advisor at the onsite field construction office.
• Other duties as assigned.
