Responsibilities

• Document all elements of physician and patient encounters into the EHR.
• Understand basic ICD-10 documentation and current billing requirements.
• Retain adequate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Comply with PHI laws (HIPAA/HITECH) in addition to local facility policies.
• Perform non-clinical tasks as directed by Physician and Chief Scribe.
