Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Ohio is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team. You will assess and administer first aid, guide associates on injuries, and refer to external providers as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, coordinating workers’ compensation, and supporting emergency response. The role requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials, with flexible shifts and site-based duties.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider; AND must have one of the following: EMT OR Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health OR the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT); OR
• Current Active Athletic Trainer Certification by either the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification.
• OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation experience.
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs and body mechanics coaching.
• Military healthcare experience in the last year as Combat Medic/Field Medic/Hospital Corpsman etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on the floor to coach safe work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Participate in training to certify first aid, CPR, AED.
• Maintain credentials for first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response at the site.
