Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to provide first aid, guidance on injuries, and referrals to outside providers at our Louisville site. You will work with the WHS team, greet new hires, and participate in safety meetings, ensuring rapid response and accurate recordkeeping.

Ideal candidates hold BLS, EMT/Paramedic or athletic trainer credentials, and can handle flexible shifts, including days, nights, or weekends. Knowledge of OSHA regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider; AND must have EMT or Paramedic Certification OR National Registry of EMTs (NREMT).
• Current active Athletic Trainer Certification, by BOC or State Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return to work programs for AAs with work-related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership on operations floor to coach observed at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and ensure medical supply inventory is maintained.
• Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED trainings.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site.
• Must obtain certification if not currently holding Adult First Aid, CPR, AED within 3 weeks of start date.
