Job summary

Amazon in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to deliver first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate care referrals on site. You will work with the WHS team to support safety operations and maintain thorough medical records.

You will participate in training for first aid, CPR, and AED, and engage with site leadership to promote health, safety, and wellness in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer cert is preferred.
• Preference for OSHA/ workers’ comp knowledge and safety program experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and coaching on safe work practices.
• Maintain care records and manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Complete daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports; coordinate with safety leadership.
