Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in North Haven, CT. You will provide on-site medical care, assess injuries, and guide associates on occupational and non-occupational health needs, while coordinating with supervisors and external providers.

You will ensure records are maintained, participate in safety meetings, and support drug testing and emergency response protocols as part of a dynamic health and safety program at the site.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification or Athletic Trainer Certification required.
• Preferred certifications to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risks through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all care records for associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for injured AAs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership to coach on safe work practices.
• Maintain clean, stocked medical supply areas and inventory control.
• Attend and support first aid, CPR, and AED certification trainings.
