Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative to support Workplace Health & Safety at the Edwardsville site. You will provide first aid, guide associates on injuries and illnesses, and coordinate care with external providers while learning OSHA regulations.

The role requires BLS and relevant medical credentials, with experience in industrial safety and digital recordkeeping. Expect flexible shifts and active safety coaching within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Basic life support (BLS) certification required
• EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials preferred
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation
• Proficiency in digital recordkeeping and reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to external medical providers as needed
• Minimize injury risk through safety education and engagement
• Maintain all care records for associates
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes
• Maintain daily activity logs and shift-end reports
• Engage with associates and leadership to coach on safe work habits
• Maintain medical supplies and safety equipment inventory
• Lead/participate in first aid, CPR, and AED trainings
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols
• Support emergency response during incidents
