Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support safety operations at our Johnston, RI site. You will assess and administer first aid, guide associates on injuries, and refer care to external providers as needed.

You will learn OSHA regulations and contribute to safety programs while working closely with the WHS team. The role requires flexible shifts, strong record-keeping, and active participation in safety reviews.

Qualifications

• Assess and administer first aid and advise associates on injuries or illnesses.
• Refer care to outside medical providers as needed and learn OSHA regulations, risk, and analysis.
• Maintain credentials and participate in first aid, CPR and AED trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on the floor to coach on at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean work environment and stock medical supplies.
