Job summary

OccuMedX Group Inc. is seeking an Onsite Medical Partner (EMT/Paramedic) for night shifts to provide immediate medical care on construction sites and support safety programs.

The role includes injury assessment, documentation, wellness program oversight, and coordination of transport to medical facilities. Strong communication and emergency response skills are essential, with OSHA 30 construction certification to be obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current State or National EMT/Paramedic certification is required.
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification must be obtained within first 30 days (Employer Provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care on construction site during emergencies.
• Assess and stabilize injured workers, coordinate transportation to a medical facility.
• Maintain thorough documentation of medical assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Conduct regular safety walks to identify potential risks and collaborate on preventive measures.
• Provide ongoing education and training to workers on first aid, CPR, workplace safety, and injury prevention.
• Oversee the workplace wellness program, including health screenings, education, and preventive care.
• Monitor and manage employee health concerns, injuries, illnesses, and exposure to hazardous materials.
• Manage the client's onsite drugs of abuse program.
• Ensure availability and proper function of medical equipment, supplies, and medications; conduct regular inventory checks.
• Maintain cleanliness of the onsite clinic and office.
• Prepare incident reports, injury logs, and reporting for regulatory compliance and internal use; communicate with management and external agencies.
• Build lasting relationships with internal and external partners; integrate with client project teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
