Job summary

OccuMedX Group Inc. is seeking an Onsite Medical Partner (EMT/Paramedic) to provide immediate medical care on construction sites, assess and stabilize patients, and coordinate transport when needed.

The role requires current EMT/Paramedic certification, BLS for Healthcare Providers, and OSHA 30 within 30 days. Strong communication and safety training skills are essential for this position in a construction environment.

Qualifications

• Current State or National Certification as an EMT or Paramedic is required.
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a pre-hospital or clinical environment preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification must be obtained within first 30 days of employment (Employer Provided).
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care in response to accidents, injuries, or medical emergencies on the construction site.
• Assess and stabilize injured or ill workers and coordinate transportation to a medical facility if necessary.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all medical assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Conduct regular safety walks to identify potential risks and collaborate on preventive measures.
• Provide ongoing education and training to workers on first aid, CPR, workplace safety, and injury prevention.
• Implement and oversee the workplace wellness program, including health screenings and preventive care.
• Maintain on-site clinic and medical equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with management, project team, and external agencies.
