Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety team seeks an Onsite Medical Representative to support safety, health and emergency response at a Plainfield site. The role involves direct first aid, guidance on injuries, and coordination with medical providers.

The OMR will maintain records, support workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes, and engage associates with safety coaching. Candidates should hold first aid credentials, BLS, and relevant clinical certifications, with strong MS Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and digital recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer outside medical care when needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all care records for Associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and shift-end reports.
• Coach on safe work habits and ergonomics on the operations floor.
• Maintain clean medical supply inventory and environment.
• Participate in first aid, CPR and AED training/certifications.
