Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety at a Texas site. You will assess and administer first aid, guide associates on occupational and non-occupational injuries, and refer to external providers as needed.

You will also participate in safety meetings and help maintain records and training on health topics. Responsibilities include coordinating workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs, logging daily activities, coaching safe work

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from DoH or NREMT; OR Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Willingness to obtain additional first aid certifications within 3 weeks if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness and engagement.
• Maintain all care records for Associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for injured AAs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach on safe work habits and engage leadership on the floor.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR and AED training certifications.
• Maintain credentials in first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
