Job summary

DaMar Staffing in Ohio is seeking a Billing Specialist to review physician services, assign CPT and ICD-10 codes, and input data into the billing system for third-party payer submissions. This in-person role requires ICD-10 experience and strong data interpretation skills.

The ideal candidate will work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy across documentation and billing processes. Paid time off is included as a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Review initial charges to determine CPT/ICD-10 codes for physician services.
• Interpret progress notes, operative reports, and discharge summaries to assign accurate codes.
• Enter coded charges and related data into the billing system.
• Contact physicians to discuss procedures billed and ensure proper coding.
• Review patient logs and reports to ensure all billable services are captured.
