Job summary

UChicago Medicine in Chicago's Transplant Department is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 100% onsite role. You will work under the supervision of RN/APN/Physician, performing vaccines, EKGs, vital signs, and clerical tasks to support patient flow.

The position requires a High School diploma, CPR, phlebotomy experience, and CMA credential. Preferred experience in transplant care, strong communication, and ability to use EPIC and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Graduate of CMA program (CMA credential).

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines, perform EKGs, and record vital signs under supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per policies.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with RN/physician and healthcare team to support patient care.
