UChicago Medicine in Chicago's Hyde Park is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic. This 100% onsite role supports physicians and nurses with patient intake, vital signs, vaccines, EKGs, phlebotomy, and charting in the EMR.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR certification, completion of an approved Medical Assistant program, CMA credential, and experience in clinical/community settings. Shift is days, 7:00am-3:30pm, 1.0 FTE.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR training.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• MA program completion with CMA credential.
• Experience in community health setting.
• Certified/registered MA program recognized by AHA or Red Cross.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with clinical tasks under RN/physician supervision.
• Record vital signs and patient information accurately.
• Administer vaccines and perform EKGs as needed.
• Conduct phlebotomy and collect specimens per policy.
• Document patient care according to hospital procedures.
• Support patient education and care coordination.
