Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting with placement of a Medical Assistant in El Paso, Texas. The position is in person/on site and runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The role is a three-month contract with extension or potential full-time opportunity, offering hourly pay between $22.30 and $24.30 based on experience. Active MA registration and bilingual abilities are preferred; familiarity with EPIC is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Registered or certified Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 6 months of MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical competence in direct patient care and assists physicians with procedures.
• Performs clinical duties within scope and adheres to policies and protocols.
• Addresses patient needs and communicates findings in a timely manner.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist during exams and procedures.
• Administers routine procedures (vital signs, vision screening, lab tests) as directed.
• Prepare and process instruments, label specimens, and ensure orders are entered in EPIC.
