Job summary
NBCUniversal is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Technology team in Washington, D.C., supporting NBC4 and Telemundo44. You will implement and support technology across mission-critical media production and enterprise IT environments, ensuring reliable operations and strong cybersecurity compliance.
The role requires coordinating with News, Production, and Creative Services partners, maintaining documentation, and providing incident response and user support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, radio, television & film, related fields or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, plan and implement technical/workflow solutions for News, Production and Creative Services partners.
- Administer media production applications, systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability of technology and operations.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for operations and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support, incident response, and customer communication.
- Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal cyber security policies and standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Onsite, full-time at NBCUniversal designated work site with an early shift around 4am.
