Job summary

IT Engagements seeks a Media Prep Lab Services Associate Technician in South San Francisco, CA, onsite. You will produce microbiological media, cell culture media, buffers, and prepared glassware for R&D while following SOPs and GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, operating lab equipment (autoclaves, washers), preparing reagents, and coordinating with lab staff to ensure timely delivery of materials; you must be punctual and safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in life sciences or related field; minimum degree requirement.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant lab support experience.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Produce microbiological and cell culture media, buffers, and prepared glassware as required.
• Maintain inventory and utilize FIFO for lab supplies.
• Operate process equipment (autoclaves, washers, ovens, benchtop instruments).
• Prepare stock reagents and ensure timely labware delivery to R&D groups.
