Job summary

Arauco North America, Inc. in Grayling, MI seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to lead the onsite maintenance team and drive reliability improvements. You will oversee mechanical staff, plan PMs, mentor safe workmanship, and coordinate with planners to ensure continuous operations during major equipment shutdowns.

The role requires at least five years in a supervisory mechanical role, a relevant diploma or degree, and hands-on experience with CMMS (SAP preferred). Weekend on-call is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum in a mechanical supervisory role.
• Diploma or trade designation related to mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Degree in maintenance, mechanical engineering or related field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the mechanical staff to achieve safety and mill reliability.
• Ensures mechanics perform duties professionally and safely.
• Plans maintenance down days and coaches others on planning practices.
• Leads in Asset Reliability Process (ARP) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates with Planners to execute mill work for continuous operations.
