Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC seeks an experienced Mechanical SME / Construction Manager for the NW Natural Cold Box Phase 2 project in Newport, OR. You will lead onsite mechanical construction, ensure adherence to drawings, specs, and safety standards, and coordinate with engineering, contractors, and vendors to meet schedule and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mechanical construction management and field oversight in heavy industrial facilities.
• Strong SME-level knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, valves, and construction practices.
• Experience as Construction Manager/Mechanical SME on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite Construction Manager and Mechanical SME for the Cold Box Phase 2 project.
• Oversee mechanical construction and installation activities with a focus on safety and schedule.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning teams.
• Review drawings, specs, and procedures for compliance and quality.
• Maintain daily/weekly progress documentation and client communications.
