Job summary

The ECI Group's Professional Technical Services Network is seeking an onsite Mechanical Reliability Specialist in the New Orleans (Waggaman) area for an 18-24 month assignment from award.

The role drives reliability improvements through data analysis, preventive/predictive maintenance, RCFA investigations, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to reduce downtime and enhance asset performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–7+ years of experience in reliability, maintenance, asset management, or industrial operations; alternatively, 10+ years of field related experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP, AMS).

Responsibilities

• Monitor asset performance and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Develop, review, and optimize preventive maintenance programs; implement predictive maintenance technologies.
• Participate in RCFA investigations; identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams; collaborate with planners and schedulers.
• Participate in capital projects and equipment commissioning activities.
