K and K Technical is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer (0–3 years) to support process development, system optimization, and equipment design in an industrial manufacturing setting. The role offers hands-on exposure to real-world factory systems and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, can work onsite in Greer, SC, and is prepared for ~40% travel to client sites or project locations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is desirable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and equipment designs.
• Support design and optimization of systems such as conveyors, air handling, HVAC, paint booths, heat exchangers, and process ovens.
• Conduct time studies, airflow simulations, and thermal balancing analyses.
• Participate in site visits, equipment testing, and commissioning activities.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, controls, and project engineering teams.
