ManpowerGroup in Maplewood, Minnesota is seeking a Mechanical Laboratory Technician for an onsite 12‑month contract. You will perform chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses, document results, and help drive quality control outcomes in a collaborative team.

The role requires at least one year in a lab, hands-on adhesive testing, data entry with Excel, and strong communication. Pay is $18–$22 per hour on W‑2, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits after waiting period.

Qualifications

• One year in a laboratory testing environment
• Hands-on adhesive testing and bulk characterization
• Strong data entry and analysis skills, including Excel
• Good mechanical aptitude and inspection procedure experience
• Clear communication and time management; able to work with moderate direction

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests to support R&D and quality control.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results for reporting.
• Follow established procedures and work effectively in a self-directed team.
• Use inspection procedures and product knowledge to support testing and evaluation.
• Manage assigned testing projects, including scheduling and data management.
