Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Maplewood, MN, to join the Optically Clear Adhesives lab team, supporting research, development, and quality control. The role requires following verbal and written instructions and working with minimal supervision.

The position is 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a 12-month contract and pay range of $19–$22 per hour on a W-2 basis. This role offers hands-on testing experience with multiple lab equipment types and contributes

Qualifications

• Able to work 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
• Ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to lift/carry 5-pound weights at high repetitions; use a ladder/step stool as needed.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and organize for product testing to support lab experiments and quality control needs.
• Assist in laboratory experiments by testing and evaluating new materials and products based on research.
• Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Conduct hands-on tests using multiple pieces of equipment and make visual observations on product samples when needed.
• Move, arrange, sort, and hang product testing weights (2 lbs–20 lbs) while maintaining safe, accurate handling practices.
