Job summary

The AES Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Cedar Park, TX, onsite 5 days a week, to design, develop and test parts for electronic test and measurement equipment. You will work with RF and Electrical engineers to resolve design details and ensure correct fit and function.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, production drawings, and vendor coordination to meet project timelines. A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with automated positioning devices.
• Familiarity with drafting standards and shop processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test parts and assemblies for electronic test and measurement applications.
• Operate CAD systems to create/modify models and drawings for production documentation.
• Review design criteria to ensure proper fit and function.
• Collaborate with RF and Electrical Engineers to resolve design issues.
• Interface with consultants and customers to meet project requirements.
• Submit models and drawings to vendors for quotes and lead times.
