JST Manufacturing in Meridian, ID is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our engineering team, supporting design and development of custom wet processing equipment. The role focuses on designing mechanical and automation systems, creating and updating drawings, BOMs, routers, and manufacturing instructions, while ensuring on-time delivery and collaboration across engineering teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1–2 years of mechanical engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of mechanical engineering experience in equipment/manufacturing (semiconductor industry preferred).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D CAD design; ability to read electrical, plumbing diagrams and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and automation systems, including plumbing and tank systems, aligning with standards and customer requirements.
• Support development of system and engineering specifications; evaluate feasibility and update as needed.
• Prepare final engineering drawings and approval layouts.
• Respond to manufacturing questions; verify products meet specs; update drawings and BOMs as needed.
• Prepare BOMs, routers and manufacturing instructions.
• Ensure deliverables meet manufacturing timelines and ship dates.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate designs and provide technical solutions.
• Assist with project estimating by developing concepts and selecting components.
